About...
Dave Guerra has 25+ years experience as an
Information Technology Professional with Information Security, Data
Security, Personal Computers, Local Area Networks, Wide Area
Networks, Wired and Wireless Topologies, Data Lines, Voice Lines,
Telephone Systems, IP Telephony, and Digital Video Security &
Surveillance. Also, has over 20 years experience in Personal and Physical
Security. Additionally, Dave holds a Bachelor's in Business
(Management) and an MBA
specializing in Technology Management.
Early in his professional career Dave
Guerra served with the United States Army and was assigned to the
most prestigious and illustrious unit in the U.S. Army: Berlin
Brigade. The assignment took Dave 110 miles behind the Iron Curtain
during the later years of the Cold War. It was here, that Dave began mastering the skills and values that have proven
to be priceless in his and his family's life: Loyalty,
Duty, Honor, Integrity, Community, Mission, and above
all: Professionalism.
As an Information Technology crusader, Dave
Guerra has one professional goal: To keep you doing what you are in
business to do. Thus, having an extensive skill set has made Dave
Guerra a recognized leader in the Information Technology field. This
recognition has been greatly supported and reinforced by Dave's real
world experience in Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity,
Information Security, Physical Security, and New Technology
applications.
Dave Guerra has provided his services to
the United States Army, the State of Texas, University of Texas
System, Walgreens Company, Dayton-Hudson Corporation, the United
States Council on Aging, and several County Government Agencies in
several southern United States,
Chambers of Commerce in South Texas, and Physicians & Hospitals throughout South
Texas.
Additionally, the North Atlantic Treaty
Organization (NATO), the City of Berlin, Germany, the Cold War
Museum, National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA),
Warner-Brothers Motion Pictures, and the United
States Department of Justice have consulted with Dave Guerra on various
issues and projects.
Most recently, David had the honor and
privilege of speaking at the Allied Museum in Berlin, Germany on the
20th Anniversary of the Berlin Wall. David spoke and presented the
Allied Museum with the first run of Commemorative
"Cinderella" Stamps honoring the Allied presence in the
city of Berlin from 1945 to 1994.
Lastly, in his spare time, when not working
on a client project, Dave can be found outdoors spending time with
his family and friends. He also plays Electric Guitar and Bass.
